Karen is a Squarespace web designer with an eye for detail and a coach approach to designing with the client in mind. In 2022, Paula joined her and with their unique talents they work hard to ensure small business entrepreneurs get the support they need to make a splash with their online presence.
We’ve focused our efforts with Squarespace because we believe in this website platform.
Karen Patton
As a multi-passionate entrepreneur, Karen has many projects on the go. She’s a website designer, IT strategist, and leadership coach.
She started her career on the high seas as a navigation officer in the Canadian Coast Guard. When she finally came ashore she moved into software development, software integration, and finally leadership roles like integration manager and IT delivery director.
She has over 24 years of business and IT experience which she now channels into Karpa Diem Web Design. She started building websites in the early 2000s for both corporations and individuals. Today she focuses on designing in the all-in-one Squarespace platform.
Paula Doig
An entrepreneur at heart, Paula built and ran Dancing Hands, a baby sign language training program.
Once her kids were in school she turned her attention back to the corporate world and spent many years leading and managing teams but her interests were never far from web design. Her first training was in 2004 at night school and she’s been learning ever since.
Today, her flair for color makes her a natural at color matching and palette design. And her keen sense of style means she has a great sense of how to pull things together and ensure a design is cohesive.
